Happy New Year from Sydney
Ciao, goodbye, see ya 2024!
What a year you have been and thank you for all the experiences and lessons you have shared with me.
I managed to visit new countries (especially Japan which was very high on my bucket list), make new friends who felt like I had known for ages, spend time with my family, turn 29 with style and a sore knee, attend a few memorable concerts and share my beloved Sydney with my mum!
Looking back at it, I feel grateful for all of this and hopeful for what 2025 can bring. I don’t usually make goals for the new year but, this time, I’ll try to focus more on myself, my life and my dreams and actively work on them and on achieving as much as I can.
2025, I’m ready for you!
This year I celebrated NYE in Sydney with my mum and one of my best friends and we went on a fireworks cruise on the harbour. It was my first time seeing the fireworks from the water and it was magical. The view wasn’t as good as when I saw them from Sydney Luna Park but it was still memorable. I also have to admit that I was a bit jealous of all the people celebrating on yachts and in the mansions around the area but this year I’m trying to be more grateful for what I have instead of complaining of what I don’t have.
I hope you will be able to achieve every dream and goal that your heart desires and that you can keep growing as a human being.
Lots of love,
Dani
