Have you ever been to the @cookislands ? It’s a Have you ever been to the @cookislands ? It’s a group of 15 islands in the Pacific Ocean between New Zealand and French Polynesia which should definitely be on your bucket list!Tropical vibes, warm weather, more affordable than French Polynesia, less touristy and with very welcoming locals that will share with you their food, culture and stories.
I spent a week there in complete relax and had some incredible adventures! Also, on a Sunday locals organise big buffets after church where everyone is welcomed to join! This allowed me to taste so much good food, get to talk with super friendly people and experience some of their traditions. The beach in the video holds special memories for me because it was right next to the hostel and I would go there morning, afternoon and evening to relax, breathe and pat the doggos!Tip: I ended up spending less than $100 return for the flight thanks to @jetstaraustralia free return special!

The only Dalí looking artworks I’ll be able to The only Dalí looking artworks I’ll be able to afford!Yesterday I decided to give AI artworks a go for the first time and I admit it was pretty fun and amazing to try!
For the first three pictures, I asked the AI to make them look like a Salvador Dalí painting (my all time favourite artist) and they do resemble his style.
The hands and the sunset ones are my favourite because they look weird, mysterious, surrealist and completely different from the original source. After this experiment, I asked it to create a hyper detailed futurist version of @sydney and let me tell you, I already love this city and the Opera House to the point that I’d merry her. But this version of her is so cool and next level that got me really hyped up!Despite the fact that I don’t believe AI will replace people anytime soon, it’s truly impressive to see how far it’s come and where it’s going!
What do you think about it and AI in general?

Pietragalla in 12 seconds! What a surprise both P Pietragalla in 12 seconds! What a surprise both Pietragalla and Basilicata were.
I was not expecting to find such a lovely, clean, relaxing and well kept village! Plus, the people were super friendly and really looked after us.The food was also delicious and a triumph of Porcini mushrooms and black truffle which was heaven for me.

I shot this picture while visiting a small town in I shot this picture while visiting a small town in the region of Basilicata called Pietragalla. These tiny “houses” are called “Palmenti” and there are roughly 200 of them in a very contained area! Experts are not sure when they were exactly built but most likely it was around the mid-1700s and they were used to make wines. Inside you will find 2 big tubs that are connected to each other and serve specific purposes. In the first tub, people would crush the grapes to release their juices. From there this would flow into a second tub where it would ferment for a set amount of time.
(To check if there was still any CO2 in the structure, people would put a candle in a small window built above the door. If the flame stayed on then it was safe to enter. If it went off then there was still some CO2 in it and they needed to wait)
Once the wine was done fermenting, it would flow at the bottom of the structure where the empty barrels were located so people could fill them up easier. These structures were great for the fermentation process as they would maintain a constant temperature throughout every season. They are very easy to access and visit as they are located before the entrance to town. It was so cool and mesmerising to walk around them and learn more about their history. The more I travel and explore, the more I’m convinced that, for certain aspects, people from the past were a lot smarter than we are!

Ciao 2022 and Benvenuto 2023!What a year 2022 it Ciao 2022 and Benvenuto 2023!What a year 2022 it has been!It started relatively slow at home, networking, embracing the cold, then some fun adventures took place when @zach.mann popped by here in February (also Happy Birthday mate!), back to quietness to then reach the half of it where so many adventures, life lessons and experiences unfolded!I had the privilege of spending 3 months living in NYC and being able to live it fully! I met many people and did countless cool things! From appearing on National television to going to free concerts, late and live show tapings and Broadway shows. Then it was time to visit Canada and a tiny portion of its natural beauty in the form of Niagara Falls! A massive, strong and powerful flow of water falling down into a beautiful blue pool mixed with mist. From Canada, I went to London and I’m happy this city proved me wrong! I had many stereotypes about it but they all changed when I actually gave it a go. Loved the people, the architecture, the busyness which still felt organised and the experiences I lived. After a quick stop in Italy for my birthday, I embarked on probably the longest and most energy demanding trip of my life! Almost 50 hours between boat, buses, trains and planes to reach my beloved Australia. My flight to Athens got cancelled so I booked a boat from Bari to Greece, then a bus to Athens, a night there and then a flight to Singapore and finally Sydney. I arrived dead but it didn’t matter because I was back where my heart belongs. My Australian time didn’t last long because life decided to change things up by making my dad go to sleep for the last time. The journey back home was very bittersweet and tense but it was also a lesson. It made me remember many things that were in the back of my mind and realise that life in its bodily form does end but the other forms will live forever.Ciao 2022. Despite your ups and downs, I wanna thank you for them and for your memories, laughter, tears, hugs, changes, step backs and moments of tension and stillness.
I’m grateful I got the chance of living with you because not everyone has.Benvenuto 2023, I look forward to seeing what you have for me.
